My name is Eva K. Weber. I hold dual nationality, both British and German. Since the early 90s, I have been working in mediating and supporting roles for the executive management of various companies. Since the millennium, I have been involved in counselling and therapy. I am very interested in people and in their internal and external relationships and what these patterns says about what makes us tick. Our feelings, thoughts and behaviours seem to have certain patterns and we experience these often without any awareness. I see my role as therapist to help you to become aware of your own patterns and to explore with you if and how these patterns may help or hinder you in your current situation and in having a healthy and fulfilled life.
I am a qualified Gestalt counsellor and psychotherapist. I have been working as a counsellor since 2002 and I have been offering psychotherapeutic services since 2007. I hold a Diploma in Counselling, a Masters in Gestalt Psychotherapy Studies, a Psychotherapy Practitioner Diploma in Individual and Group Gestalt Psychotherapy as well as a Certificate in clinical Supervision. I am committed to ongoing training and supervision as a means to maintain, deepen and expand my skills.
I welcome clients with a wide range of needs, such as anxiety relief, bereavement issues, communication difficulties, compulsive behaviour, cultural issues, depression, eating disorders, ill-health, obsessive behaviour, personal development, mood disorders, self-esteem issues and trauma work.
I am accredited with BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy) and registered with UKCP (The UK Council for Psychotherapy). I am bound by their Ethical Framework for good practice. The guidelines are accessible through www.psychotherapy.org.uk and www.bacp.co.uk.
