My name is Eva K. Weber. I have dual citizenship: I am German and British. Since the beginning of the 90s I have been working in mediating and supporting roles at the executive and higher management level, for family offices and private individuals. I have been working in the therapeutic field since 2002. Here, I work with individual clients and groups as well as for and with companies. All activities are geared towards a sustainable and healthy system with a holistic view. Since my return to Germany I work as a “Heilpraktiker” for psychotherapy rather than as a psychotherapist. (Germany’s psychotherapy system differs from that the UK. One characteristic is that Gestalt therapy is not a scientiffically recognised approach). I also support clients and groups and their individual healing processes.
I completed my Gestalt therapy training in England. At the beginning of my therapeutic activities I mainly worked in health centres, doctors’ offices and for the student counselling service of Birkbeck – University of London. I opened my private practice in East Sussex in 2005. I worked there until I moved back to Germany in 2017.
I am very interested in people and their internal and external relationships and what these patterns of behaviour say about how we function. Our feelings, thoughts, and behaviors seem to have certain patterns. We often experience these without consciousness. I see my role as a therapist to help you become aware of your own patterns. Together, we will explore how your actions, thoughts and behaviours are supportive in your life or how they might hinder you reaching your goals. With the ne insights, you have the best prerequisites to lead a healthier and more fulfilling life.
I am a qualified Gestalt counsellor, gestalt therapist and supervisor. I have a counselling diploma, a Masters in Gestalt psychotherapy studies, a diploma in psychotherapy for individual and group Gestalt therapy as well as a diploma in supervision. Continued training and supervision are important and essential to me in order to maintain and deepen my knowledge and to expand my skills.
